What is "Staking"?

We sometimes call it as Yield farming. The staking mechanism enables any holders to get rewarded just by lending its token to the staking smart contract. The staking can be locked or not and APY can be the same at anytime depending of the rules.

What is "APY"?

We usually use APY when we talk about anything related to the staking reward, it means annual percentage yield.

For example: You are staking 100 token x with 20% APY. If you let it during the whole year, then at the end of the staking year you would have 120 token x.
